This page explains what data House Plant Care collects when you visit, what it is used for, and how you can limit it.

What we collect ourselves

This site is a static collection of articles. There is no registration, no account, no comment section, and no newsletter form. We do not collect personal data from visitors directly. We do not know your name, your email, or which pages you read.

The only personal data we ever see comes from messages you send us by email through the contact page. Those messages live in an ordinary inbox and are used only to reply to you.

What our infrastructure collects

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically logs technical details of every request — IP address, browser type, approximate country, the URL requested, and a timestamp — for security and diagnostics. We do not access these logs directly. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, and we do not track individual visitor behavior.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. If so:

  • Google and its partners may place cookies and identifiers on your device, including for personalized advertising based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • Google uses this data in accordance with its privacy policy.
  • You can disable personalized advertising in Google’s ad settings. Ads will become generic rather than tailored.
  • In the EU, UK, and Switzerland, you will see a Google-certified consent banner on your first visit.

Your rights

You may ask us to delete your correspondence from our inbox, and you can configure your browser to block all third-party cookies, which disables advertising analytics on this and every other site.

Changes

When this policy changes meaningfully, the date below is updated. We send no notifications because we hold no list of email addresses.
